Nice ring box for my son's baseball rings. Does the job! Not sure why other reviews are negative.Very poor quality. Says wood but is plastic, window on top is thin plastic and was already falling apart when I received. Was supposed to be free returns, but when I set up my return they are wanting me to pay postage, I have contacted, but no luck. The product keeps changing seller names not sure why.Grandsons Baseball Championship rings. 27 of them.The whole thing fell apart and got here the next day I put in the rings I was closing the lid and that was it so if you don't want to use it for anything and just on the side empty maybe it's okay but if you actually want to use it to display rings no it falls apart.I would not recommend ever getting this item. It was very poorly made. All the corners on the bottom of the box were defective, when I open the box to put in the rings the top came off along with the nails and hinges and the plexiglass glass cover was not glued in.It was made with very cheap material and the hinges and cover were both broken when delivered.I purchased this jewelry box through ebay. The box I received was damaged during shipping from CHINA. This was obviously due to incredibly poor packaging. This box about 11" x 9" x 3" is flimsy and cheaply made. The "glass" top is not glass - it is 1.3 mm thick clear plastic (somewhat flexible) which is good as real glass would have broken into many pieces. The attractive "wood finish" is actually a thin applied veneer, The "hinges" are made from VERY thin sheet metal and are held in place by miniature wood screws. My box was dropped or struck causing the top section to shear away from the bottom section resulting 9 of the 12 hinge screws to pull completely out of the wood box resulting in one hinge breaking apart and the other being bent way beyond functional use. The clasp was also damaged during shipping. All of these individual portions of the jewelry box were somewhat held together (perhaps contained is a more accurate phrase) by the thin plastic shipping envelop. There were also numerous nicks and dings to the box corners and top. I requested a return and was offered a credit of $7.30 for replacing all hardware, which I accepted as I did not wish to pay return postage to CHINA.I did replace the hinges and clasp. I also re-glued the clear plastic to the underside of the box top. I now have a functioning jewelry box that looks great from a distance, but up close the nicks/dings are noticeable. This is a cheap and flimsy box, but it does what I want.Item looks great!Either than the fact I cannot give it away as a gift because of damage from poor packaging.It fits perfectly in my garbage can.
